Access to a CRM is granted by the main system administrator/master user. For many micro-businesses this user may be the only user they will require – either because they are a one-person operation or because the team is small enough and trustworthy enough for them to use the same logon details.
However, even the simplest CRM implementation will usually have one CRM system master user and one administration user – the latter dealing with the day to day operations of the system.
If your organisation is large enough to have separate sales, marketing, administration functions and users, a good CRM will be able to reflect this whether you require one login per function/department or one login per user.
In short for a cloud-based CRM, anyone with an email address can be given access to your CRM.
